Making The Most Of Your Article Submissions
An important part of any site’s SEO strategy is back links. This still remains one very easy way of getting a vast amount of back links to your site and it is creating and submitting articles to article directories.
In this article I will give you the top 5 tips on how to use article submissions more effectively. Don’t just create articles blindly and submit them to the wrong places. Instead follow my top 5 easy tips.
Article submission Tips
1. Unique Articles
When I put unique articles I mean each directory you submit to gets an unique article. Not just one article with a few words here and there changed. This wont do, if you would like to spin the article. Spin the article wisely don’t waste your time with poorly designed rewriting software. Most of them just change words by using a thesaurus which makes the articles unreadable.
2. Link Text
As you are aware the benefits of using article directories to host your articles is that you can have a link to your site with the link text of your choice. This is when most people come unstuck. Don’t put out 170 articles with the same link text. This raises alarm bells at Google as it looks like someone is trying to spam their index. Make your links look natural throw in the odd “click here” or the odd “your site url” never look over optimised.
3. Quality Quality Quality Quality
Don’t just keep the good stuff for yourself. You probably always put up good quality articles on your own site and put up bad or lower quality articles on Article directories. If the article is of good quality and therefore has a lower bounce rate Google is more likely to count the back link. So treat others the way you would like to be treated.
4. Grammar, Spelling.
There is nothing worse than spending hours and hours working on an article for it only to get rejected for bad smellings (oops!). You would have wasted your time when you could have been doing other SEO tasks. So simply spell check everything or pass the article to a friend or partner to skim over and proof read.
5. Outsource, Outsource
The old saying why have a dog and bark yourself. Article submission is a time consuming task which you could outsource, with sites like Elance.com which may cost $100 a month or thereabouts to get this outsourced. Which is for me is money well spent; even while I sleep people are building links to my site.
Well that is it. Simply follow these easy to follow tips and double the success of your article submissions.
